Two Anthologies Available, One More Coming Soon!

The New York/Tri-State Chapter of Sisters in Crime is delighted to announce its two previous Murder New York Style mystery anthologies, Deadly Debut and Fresh Slices, are now available in gorgeous new e-book editions through Glenmere Press. But that’s not all the great news, because our upcoming third anthology in the series, Family Matters, will be available in e-book and trade paperback beginning September 9, 2014!

We’re tremendously proud of the continuing quality of work we’re able to present from our members, and based on feedback from early readers, Family Matters is keeping up the tradition and then some! While the collections feature writing from seasoned, award-winning authors as well as newcomers, all the proceeds serve to benefit the NYSinC chapter of Sisters in Crime, an international organization whose mission is “to promote the professional development and advancement of women crime writers to achieve equality in the industry.

We’ll be launching our newest title in person at the Brooklyn Book Festival on Sunday, September 21, 2014, signing and selling copies at this always-fabulous annual event. The stories in these three collections are all set in the New York metro area, all involve the fabric and people of this place we call home, and every year, it’s a treat for our local members to join the enthusiastic community of readers who come out to the festival to browse and talk about books!

If you’d like more information about any of the anthologies, including links to a variety of vendors, please click the book’s title in the menu bar.┬áIf you’re a book blogger, reviewer, librarian, or bookseller, please e-mail Clare Toohey, the chapter’s anthology chairperson, and she’ll happily get you a Net Galley widget or other copy for your evaluation.
